Privacy Policy

The Trade Post is operated by Rodeo Management LLC, an Idaho limited liability company ("Rodeo Management," "we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect when you use the service at rodeomanagement.net, why we collect it, and who it is and is not shared with.

1. Who we are

Rodeo Management LLC
7415 Labor Camp Road, Caldwell, ID 83607
john@rodeomanagement.net

2. What we collect

We collect only what the service needs to function:

• Account information. Your name, email address, and password. Passwords are stored hashed by our authentication provider; we never see them.
• Contestant information. Your association card number, which is required to identify you on a trade submitted to PROCOM, and optionally a payment handle such as Venmo. Your payment handle is not shown to other contestants (see section 6).
• Mobile phone number. Only if you choose to provide one for text notifications. Providing a number is optional and is never required to browse, post, accept trades, or hold a membership.
• Trade activity. The performance slots you hold, post, request, and trade, and the records of completed trades.
• Billing information. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We receive a customer identifier and subscription status. We never receive or store your full card number.

3. How we use it

To operate your account, match you with trade partners, produce the trade record you submit to PROCOM, process your subscription, and, if you have opted in, send you text notifications. We do not use your information to build advertising profiles. Businesses may pay for a listing on The Road Atlas; those listings are not targeted at you, and no advertiser receives your information.

4. Mobile numbers and SMS

If you provide a mobile number and check the consent box, you agree to receive text messages from Rodeo Management LLC about trade matches, trade confirmations, and trade window deadlines. Consent is not a condition of purchase or of membership.

• Message frequency varies based on your trade activity and the rodeos you follow.
• Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts. Reply HELP for help, or email john@rodeomanagement.net.
• You can also turn texts off at any time in your notification settings, or remove your number from your account entirely.

We keep a record of when you gave and withdrew consent, including the exact wording shown to you at the time. We retain that record after you opt out, because it is the proof that we had permission to contact you.

5. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who make the product work, and only to the extent they need it:

• Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Stripe — subscription billing.
• Resend — transactional email such as password resets.
• Twilio — text message delivery, only for numbers that have opted in.

Rodeo Management LLC staffcan view your account. A staff member may also be designated as your account's manager, which lets them view and update your contestant details and post, accept, and cancel trades and manage your wishlist on your behalf. Your My Account page shows whether your account has a manager and who it is. Offers, trades, and wishlist entries made by a manager are recorded with the manager's identity. To have a manager removed, email us.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to the rodeo association or PROCOM as part of submitting or verifying a trade you initiated.

6. What other contestants can see

Listings and trades are shown to other contestants without identifying you. A listing may show your rewards tier. Your name, card number, payment handle, email address, and phone number are not shown to other contestants, including after a trade is accepted. They are visible to Rodeo Management LLC staff and to a manager of your account, as described in section 5.

7. Money

Rodeo Management LLC never holds, transfers, or escrows money between contestants. Any amount agreed between two contestants is settled directly between them, off the platform. The only payment we process is your own subscription, through Stripe.

8. Retention

We keep account and trade records while your account is open and for as long as needed for tax, accounting, and dispute purposes afterward. Consent records are retained as described in section 4. You can ask us to delete your account by emailing us.

9. Your choices

• Update your account details at any time from your account page.
• Turn text notifications off, or remove your number, at any time.
• Cancel your subscription from the billing portal.
• Request a copy of your data, or its deletion, by emailing john@rodeomanagement.net.

10. Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Contestants under 18 should have a parent or guardian review this policy. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will remove it.

11. Security

Access to your record is restricted to your own account and to Rodeo Management LLC staff acting under section 5. Phone numbers are stored with access limited to server-side systems and are not readable by other users of the service. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected users if a breach occurs.

12. Changes

If we make a material change to this policy we will update the effective date above and, where the change affects how we contact you, notify you directly.
